By accessing or using Mirror ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Fair Use Policy

Subscription plans described as "Unlimited" are subject to a Fair Use Policy to prevent abuse and ensure service quality for all users.

Fair Use Limits:

• 10 hours mock interviews per month maximum
• No automated or bot access allowed

Enforcement:

• First offense: Email warning with usage report
• Repeated abuse: Throttling (5-minute cooldown between sessions)
• Severe abuse: Account suspension with 30-day appeal window

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Mirror uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to power AI features. These models can occasionally:

• Generate incorrect code or technical advice ("hallucinations")
• Provide outdated information
• Miss subtle context in your responses

You are responsible for verifying all AI-generated feedback. Mirror is an educational tool, not a substitute for professional career counseling.

4. No Guarantee of Employment Outcomes

Mirror does NOT guarantee:

• Job offers or interview success
• Specific salary outcomes
• Admission to any company or program

Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your skills, experience, and market conditions.

5. Account Responsibilities

• You must be 18+ years old to use the Service
• One account per person
• Keep your password secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

6. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Share your account with others
• Use bots or automation tools
• Reverse engineer the Service
• Scrape or harvest data
• Use the Service for illegal purposes

7. Billing & Refunds

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime via Settings
• No refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Abuse of Fair Use Policy
• Non-payment

You may delete your account anytime via Settings or by contacting support@mirror.com

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and design of Mirror is owned by Mirror. Your interview data and feedback reports belong to you, but we retain a license to use anonymized data for service improvement.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIRROR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.
